Texas Native St. Augustine can be found growing naturally in different areas of Texas.  A hardy St. Augustine, it’s particularly noted for its quick green up after the winter season and withstanding fungus outbreaks.

Palmetto, considered an upgraded St. Augustine, has established as the variety favorite, handling drought, shade and cold better. 

Raleigh St. Augustine has long been the standard St. Augustine in Texas.  When Raleigh is maintained properly during the warm seasons, it will have a darker green color and does very well choking out weeds.
